Comfy Corn Bags Uses, Directions and Care

SHERIDAN’S “COMFY CORN BAGS”
Made With Love!

QUESTIONS? WE HAVE INFO!
We added this product to our business because we couldn’t live without OUR bags!  Parents and Grandparents have taken the “sting” out of children’s “boo-boos” many times over using a hug, kiss and “corn bag to the rescue therapy”!  Two are in the freezer at all times! And two ready for the microwave!

Cold corn bags are great for all ages – they help aching/strained muscles, sinus headaches, cooling a sunburn, reducing swelling (any stubbed toes?), icing a surgical area, or to simply cool yourself on a hot day!!
Hot corn bags are used for certain muscle pains, injuries, spasms, relieving tension, cramps, hand and/or body warmers – just for starters.

WARMING YOUR CORN BAG
Our corn bags are made with 100% cotton fabric/thread and clean whole field corn.
This content is microwave safe.
Always start slow since microwaves vary; microwave for 30 seconds, shake the corn and determine the warmth. Repeat at 30 second intervals for a total of 1-2 minutes.
DO NOT OVERHEAT! Everyone’s heat tolerance is different. And those with nerve damage may not be able to sense something too hot – or cold!
(note: the first few times you microwave your corn bag, you may notice a slight fragrance and feel moisture – this is normal).
The most common question?…Will the corn POP? No. Field corn is not popping corn.

FREEZING YOUR CORN BAG
Place your corn bags into a storage bag and keep in a handy spot in your freezer.
If a milder temperature is preferred, refrigerate them.
Storing in a storage bag keeps them clean and safe from possible refrigerator odors.

THINKING “OUTSIDE THE BAG”
DO NOT — USE on infants or young toddlers without a physician’s order.
REMINDER: skin sensitivities, people’s heat/cold tolerances vary. Heat and cold on skin must always have a fabric shield between the skin and bag.
Even though our bags are covered with protective cotton fabric, SOME people may require additional protection remedied by placing a towel in-between the skin and corn bag. And always, if in question about an application of heat or cold as a treatment, consult a physician!

CLEANING YOUR BAG
Corn bags with a protective outer cover: remove outer cover, wash and dry with like colors.
Do not get inner bag wet as it could create mold in the corn.
For bags without a removable cover: simply wipe with a very damp cloth to avoid wetting the corn.

ENJOY!
